| Abstract: |
This image is a composite of a photographs, maps, and drawings that I used as the cover of my master's project for the school of Urban Planning and Policy. The project is an open space plan for Downtown Glenview, a suburban community north of Chicago where I work as an intern. I created this image for the cover because I felt that it represented the varied nature of the research I performed to complete the project, as well as the dynamic skillset planners must have to perform their work. The images are, from top left, going clockwise: the Jackman Park fountain, a GIS map showing open space level of service, a cross section drawing of a proposed park, and a site plan drawing of a proposed public space. |
