| Abstract: |
This image is a watercolor done by Matthew Fitzsimmons to represent what the redesigned West Haven/ United Center Neighborhood will look like in 2030 after completion of the project. One on the main goals of the image is to show the general proximity the area has compared to the economic engine of the region, the downtown Loop district of Chicago. It also attempts to gain support from local citizens to possible investors by romantically depicting the vast improvements to the area and its potential to be a great attraction. This image is the cover of a 59-page report completed for Ferhat Zerin’s UPP 552 course. |
